TabCookie Cleaner

TabCookie Cleaner collects no personal data and transmits nothing. It runs entirely on your device.

What the extension does

TabCookie Cleaner processes the URLs of your open tabs and your browser cookies locally, for one purpose only: to delete cookies for websites you are no longer using (when their last tab closes), unless you have whitelisted them.

What it stores

The extension stores the following on your own device, using the browser's local storage:

• Your settings (grace delay, subdomain matching, and similar options).
• Your whitelist and greylist of domains.
• A local activity log of recent cleanups.

If you enable the optional Pro sync feature, these settings are synchronised through your own Chrome profile (chrome.storage.sync). This uses Google's built-in sync for your account and involves no server operated by us.

What it does NOT do

• No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking.
• No remote code — all code ships inside the extension package.
• No accounts, no sign-up.
• Your browsing history and cookies never leave your machine.

Network activity

The extension makes no network requests during normal use. The only possible network connection is the ExtensionPay payment page, which opens only if you explicitly choose to upgrade to Pro. No browsing data is included in that exchange. Payment processing is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe under their own privacy policies.

Data sharing and sale

We collect no user data, so there is nothing to sell, share, or transfer to third parties, and nothing is used for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending.

Removing your data

Uninstalling the extension removes all of its locally stored data.
